Litigation: Our litigation practice is concentrated in the areas of personal injury, commercial disputes, Worker's Compensation, insurance coverage questions, employment situations, age and sex discrimination, education related issues and family law. We represent plaintiffs and defendants. We have tried cases in most of the Circuit Courts in Central and Northeast Missouri and the Federal Courts in Hannibal, Jefferson City, St. Louis and Kansas City. Our attorneys have presented numerous seminars and co-authored a number of articles in publications dealing with litigation techniques and the principles of evidence for the Missouri Bar.

Municipal Law: Municipal Law involves the representation of cities, school boards, and local governmental agencies. We provide advice about and have handled litigation involving zoning and special use permits, condemnation, employment practices, contracts for services, IEPs. teacher contract and tenure problems, the ADA and 42 U.S.C. section 1983, compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations. This is a complex area which requires sound advice because the decision affects human lives, academic achievement, and property. Our firm has extensive experience representing government and semi-public entities. We have worked with school districts in the implementation of "Excellence in Education" programs and providing services to handicapped students.
